miles shores acres is the project name for experimental beaded objects to wear. dan kirk comes from a family of beaders and initially began beading on the Oregon Coast, where their family is from. miles shores acres works are all one of a kind that hint at the interplays of the formal, playfulness, the future and the historic. All pieces are made with glass beads, and some include accenting beads like pearls and shells.
