Jimmy Wong - Where It's At (2nd Edition)

This publication is a collection of excerpts from Jimmy Wong’s column “Where It’s At”, which appeared in Poker Player and Pan Player + in the late 1980s. All accompanying images and advertisements are pulled from the original newspapers and appeared next to the column.

He likes you to know that there are many who are greater than he is in skills and other things. But he is content with himself for he knows he can hold his own to have a place in the sun.”

Jimmy Wong is a longtime Los Angeles area resident and a U.S. Army Veteran. He has owned and operated five restaurants and two gaming clubs, and has been a house player for casinos. He has also been a gaming instructor specializing in pai gow and mah jong. He is the founder of Chinatown Post 628 and Chinatown Mission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization. Wong holds a B.A. degree in Journalism from CalState LA. Los Angeles Times named him the “unofficial mayor of Chinatown” in the front page on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
